it came out with ease. she worked that tooth until that baby had no choice but to fall out. 3 more are loose now as well. funny to have one baby loosing teeth while the other is getting them...

Dear Marley...
baby...i am soo very sorry that i thought Instagram was a better option for keeping up with our lives. i'm so sorry that i thought i didn't need to write every detail down...and capture every moment on film. i swore that you wouldn't fall into that 'second child' trap of not having pictures, memories, etc. like the first child. i let you down sister. for only for a short period of time. and i'm gonna make up for it don't you worry. i have a fully charged camera battery and a whole new blog miss mae mae...just for the tales of you two girls. who i happen to love so much is hurts...we'll go back to catch up, but today you are 11 months old! now the countdown begins till your big day. feels like you were born yesterday and yet it feels like you've been around my whole life. funny how that happens huh...

well hello...
i'm pretending that it hasn't been 3 months since I updated this blog...are you? well i know my mom isn't but anyway...
we are doing good. miss marley is turning into a real sweetheart. and big sister is handling the transition as well as expected. kindergarten starts in 3 weeks. i'm really pretending that isn't the case. more on that later. for now, i'll post some pics already...
notice a theme in all these pictures??? big sister is never more than a few steps away. she adores marley. marley adores her. they will be the bestest of friends i pray...

phone pics
it's no surprise that i have 1,000,000 pictures of georgia during her first years. i mean what else was there to do besides photograph every cute thing she did?! marley won't have the luxury but I am trying my hardest to at least get a few pics each week. and the reality is that most of those pics will be taken with my phone. oh well. i'll share anyway...

1 month old
MK is one month old today. I can't really decide if it's gone fast or slow. The weeks fly by but the days are quite long sometimes. Such is life with a newborn I know. She is settling in to somewhat of an unpredictable routine and we are slowly getting to know each other. She is a sweet baby. Full of personality already. And Georgia has been great with her. Harold goes back to work full time next week and I'm a little anxious. It seems like the transition from 1 to 2 kids might be a little more challenging (and a lot less tiring) than when we just had one baby. It will be so great and in a few months we'll look back and remember these precious (hard) days...

settling in...
Marley will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Hard to believe and then again, it feels like she's been here longer. We are all trying to figure out our new normal and settle in. There's been laughter and tears from everybody in the house (okay no tears for Harold but then again, he's the only man in the house). Us three girls will do enough crying and fussing to make up his share no doubt. But it's good. It's all good and we'll be just fine. Georgia is doing GREAT with caring for Marley. Marley is a lucky girl to have her watching over her. Here's a few pictures from the last few days. I'll update more later...
