I'm in love. Yes, with Jesus. Yes, with my husband. Yes, with my baby.
New to the list...Starbucks Caramel Steamer. I stopped there this morning because I was freezing and wanted something warm. I asked for a Caramel Latte without the coffee in it. To my enlightment, it's called a Steamer. So basically it is steamed milk with caramel syrup and a caramel drizzle on top. I wish I could hand you all sip of this divine beverage. I am truly in love.
Here's to cold days and warm bellies!

Half Way Home....
I'll be 20 weeks on Monday. Wow! I can't believe we're half way there. I say it again...this time is flying by. I'm feeling good and obviously growing good! I've started to feel her just about every day. It's just little flutters right now but I can't wait until Harold will be able to feel her as well. I always ask him "Don't you wish you could feel her?" and he replies "Oh, I'm good sweetie." Translation: You just keep doing what you doing and I just keeping enjoying the process from over here! :) So here ya go...20 weeks along :)
We are so excited! We've bought her crib, found a changing chest that we'll pick up next week and today we're going to register and look for a glider and lamp table. And yesterday, I bought Georgia her first pair of shoes.

Snow Day...
It's a little late for a White Christmas but wow the snow was beautiful for the 30 minutes it lasted :) I told Georgia how beautiful it was and wished she could enjoy it now since it's likely to be another 10 years before we get it again! Nevertheless, Harold and I got a kick out of seeing the neighborhood covered in white.
My sister, Kristie who lives down the street got really creative in the 30 minutes of snow.

Georgia On My Mind
Other than marrying Heather, I have never been so blessed. The Lord has given me a girl! Her name is Georgia Marie and I am already head over heels in love with her. When the ultrasound gave us the news I was overjoyed.
I am still overjoyed. I can't wait to get my hands on her.
If you look closely at her profile in the ultrasound you will see that she has my nose and lips. The other pic is of Heather, Laura (the ultrasound tech), and me. Based on my attire it should be clear what I was hoping for.
Georgia, your mom and I will do the best we can to share the Lord with you, love you, care for you, and occasionally let you stay up late and eat junk food.
Love, Dad.

Where to begin????
As most of you know Harold left last Saturday morning (Jan. 5th) to do his annual tour for the Reserves in Dover, DE. He was to be gone for 15 days. I saw him off early that morning and knew I was in for a long two weeks away from him. He arrived Saturday, got settled in on Sunday and started work Monday morning. I received a call Monday morning at 5:45a.m. that Harold was on the way to the emergency room. He was standing at work just talking to some of the others there and passed out, falling straight back hitting his head. He says that he felt sick...his vision went...and the next thing he remembers was people asking him if he was okay. His glasses were knocked off...He bit his tongue...Knocked his jaw out of whack and had a pretty good bump on his head. So he was at the hospital and they were going to start an EKG & CT Scan to make sure there wasn't anything obvious going wrong. I immediately got to the airport and was on a flight to Philly by 7:30a.m. I got to Philly and rented a car to drive to Delaware. Thank God for GPS systems! Anyway, I was there by late afternoon and he was released with the instructions for further testing. Sooooo, the next couple of days were spent going back and forth with the medical unit on base to get him the labs & blood work he needed. Finally on Thursday the doctor on base recommended that he be released to come home and be further evaluated by a cardiologist & neurologist. Friday we were on our way home and I'll take him to Maxwell tomorrow to see his commander and get the medical people there to write the referrals to see the specialists. He has had some dizzy episodes, headaches, night sweats & a little high blood pressure since all this occurred so we're hopeful that we can either find out what's wrong or rule out what's not wrong. A healthy 35 year old shouldn't be just blacking out so we gotta do some digging and I'll keep you all updated as things progress.
I'm so thankful that we live in such a great city for medical care. I have no doubt that we'll get great care. I'm doing fine. I was a bit concerned about the baby on Monday because I was so full of anxiety but I'm sure he/she is much better in there than out here! We go to the doctor in a few days so that will be much needed confirmation that all is well. Please just say a quick prayer for us if we pass through your thoughts. The Lord has drawn close to us and we rest knowing that our health, our home, our life, our love is in the most careful Hands. What more could we ask for???

16 Weeks
16 weeks and counting...Gosh this time is flying by.
Also, I think I felt the baby move today. I was at work and grabbed a Coke. I usually don't do caffine and halfway through I'm almost positive I felt him/her move. I sat so still for the next 10 minutes waiting to feel it again, but no luck. Nevertheless, I can't wait to feel it again.
